TVET-I Egypt – Support of Technical and Vocational Education Transition in the Renewable Energies Sector of Egypt

Scope of work:

Coordinating all stakeholders (Ministry of Education and Technical Education Cairo, General Authority for Educational Buildings, EU delegation, Masr el-Kheir foundation MEK) during all processes, Full financial and administrative programme management, Team leading and project management of infrastructure sub-team and related activities and deliverables.

Development of implementation strategies under changing political circumstances and continuing personnel exchange, Full coordination with TVET and governance sub-team to build and develop infrastructure concept for 3 state-of-the-art “Centers of Competence” in component 1, and select 18 existing Technical Secondary Schools for rehabilitation measures, development of architectural guidelines, Development of programme procurement plan, programme disbursement plan, full financial and logistical administration of all consultant activities, Development of PQ and tender documents for International Design Consultants, Works Contractors, Furniture Suppliers, Develpoment of Design Brief for External Architects and the General Authority for Educational Buildings in Egypt (GAEB), Review and update Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP), overseeing and coordinating Renewable Energy infrastructure planning as well as Environmental sub-consultants, conducting ESHS screenings, Full reporting to the client and KfW.
